Pilar Zeta is an Argentinian multimedia artist based in Mexico City, working at the intersection of philosophy, mathematics, symbolism, mysticism, and postmodern architecture. Her practice engages with the construction of meaning through form, using portals, thresholds, and archetypal symbols—especially the egg—as devices for transformation. Through spatial compositions, she invites a reconfiguration of perception, bridging the tangible and the immaterial.
A pivotal moment in her trajectory came in 2021 with Hall of Visions, a large-scale installation at Miami Art Week (Faena Miami). This immersive environment, both sculptural and experiential, became a space for contemplation and expanded awareness. Deepak Chopra led a meditation within it, reinforcing its role as a site for collective experience and introspection.
Her work continued in 2022 with two major exhibitions. The Space of Variations at Praz-Delavallade in LA examined the fluidity between physical and digital realities through a quantum lens, followed by Future Transmutation at Miami Art Week, a monochromatic intervention where mathematics and esoteric systems informed the spatial logic. In 2023, Doors of Perception at MACO Art Week introduced marble structures as points of passage, encouraging a reorientation of spatial awareness and symbolic interpretation.
In October 2023, she realized Mirror Gate at Art D’Egypt – Forever is Now III, a large-scale installation at the Giza pyramids, engaging in a dialogue between ancient architectural systems and speculative futures. The work functioned as both an homage and an inquiry—connecting historical continuity with the shifting paradigms of contemporary spatial practice.
Alongside her installations, Zeta has collaborated with Coldplay, contributing to album artwork and stage design. Her role as Art Director for Everyday Life earned her a Grammy nomination in 2021, and she was awarded a Bronze Clio Award for Best Directing Video for Don’t Go Yet by Camila Cabello.
Through the synthesis of material and conceptual elements, Pilar Zeta’s work expands the possibilities of spatial and symbolic language. By engaging with form as a means of shifting perception, she proposes alternative ways of inhabiting both physical and imagined realities.
